In honour of World Poetry Day - a singular poet - Gil Scott-Heron. Thank you for the feedback on the BLM paintings. Here is one of Gil Scott-Heron that I painted last year but wasn't too sure about. I also wanted to find out more about him before posting as it felt important to keep step between my learnings and the paintings. Honestly that idea was very optimistic! I could spend a lifetime and have barely scratched the surface of these peoples lifetimes. Still, the pieces I have found have added a great and welcome perspective to these reflective days.
