I've been watching and reading a lot to improve my understanding of racism and white privilege. I was really struck this week watching 'I am not your Negro' the excellent documentary on novelist, poet and activist James Baldwin.

What struck me so hard was seeing him interviewed on live TV in 1968, his articulation of the issue was staggering, but moreover he describes exactly the same issues we have today, I can't believe this is over 50 years ago and so little change has happened.
